The AR515-8 is a versatile Tribrid DVR designed for hybrid security setups. It supports HDTVI, AHD, HDCVI, analog cameras, and up to 10 IP cameras (AR515-16 model). The DVR provides long-distance transmission over UTP and coaxial cables, one-key H.264+ compression for reduced storage needs, and full-channel recording at up to 3 MP. Dual HDMI outputs (up to 4K), VGA, and CVBS provide flexible video display. Four hot-swappable SATA HDDs with RAID support ensure secure and scalable storage. Intelligent VCA functions, POS-triggered recording, people counting, and heat map analytics allow for advanced monitoring and reporting. Network management is simplified with dual gigabit Ethernet interfaces and P2P cloud access.

The system uses H.265+/H.265/H.264+ encoding to reduce storage requirements while maintaining clear video, including real-time 1080p lite or 4MP lite.
